On 26 September, Al-Mada Press cited a source in Al-Fallujah Teaching Hospital saying that "the hospital received three corpses belonging to civilians, including a child, in addition to 10 other civilians who were wounded as a result of Iraqi Army shelling on various parts of Al-Fallujah, using rocket launchers, explosive barrels, and aircraft rockets." The source added that "the shelling also destroyed 16 houses and burned a number of commercial shops."

• On 28 September, the independent Al-Sumariyah News cited Staff Lieutenant General Ahmad Saddak al-Tamimi, Al-Anbar police chief, saying that “a police force, backed by tribal fighters, today clashed with elements of the terrorist DA’ISH organization in Al-Tash area, south of Al-Ramadi; and Al Bo-Ali area, north of Al-Ramadi, killing 82 members of the organization.” He is further cited saying that “the police forces, backed by mechanical units, dug two mass graves to bury the bodies of the terrorist DA’ISH organization’s fatalities o

On 24 September, Al-Taghyir TV carried the following report: "Eight civilians were either killed or wounded due to the ongoing government shelling that continues to target the city of Al-Fallujah. A spokesman at the Al-Fallujah Educational Hospital Emergency Room said that the hospital received the bodies of two people and treated six others, including a child, in the past 24 hours.

Some 40 "DA'ISH [Arabic acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, ISIL]" elements were killed and 45 others were wounded in US airstrikes that targeted several areas in the Kirkuk Governorate, according to independent Al- Mada Press.

On 24 September, the independent Shafaq News cited a security source saying that the militants of the "DA'ISH" beheaded 11 Iraqi soldiers in the area of Al-Bu Jasim in the Al-Karmah District in the east of Al-Fallujah.
